Our Story

Sestra opened its doors in 2006 when our beloved "Pawpaw" left his 3 granddaughters the legacy of "living your dreams." We three sisters have a close relationship and shared a dream of opening a business together. Sestra is the reality of that dream.

 

In tribute to our maternal grandmother who is of Slovak decent, we chose the name "Sestra" which means "sister" in Slovak.

 

In 2007, we brought a cousin, who is like a younger sister on board. The differing fashion taste between the four of us helps to expand the choices we have to offer our customers. We range from vintage, traditional to modern, but the one thing we all agree on is keeping our selections affordable and giving our customers the best experience possible.

 

At Sestra you will be greeted by a caring and knowledgeable staff, who truly enjoys their customers. The goal is to make choosing your dress, for whatever occasion, stress free and fun!

 

We are all blessed to have a good relationship and a have a chance to live our dream. Our faith is very strong and our family motto is "take it one day at a time and always enjoy the experience!"
