Petite Ladies
A-line dresses are flattering to petite women. The A-line helps to lengthen the body. It might be best to avoid very full skirts, opting for a slim skirt in proportion to your body.
A word of caution if considering a strapless dress. It is very common that you may reach up to your husband on your wedding day. Cap sleeves give the illusion of a strapless and also serve to hold the gown in place.
Full-Figured Ladies
A-line wedding gowns again lengthen the body without drawing attention to your waistline. Scoop and V necklines are flattering and enhance the curvy figures.
Large Busted Ladies
Off the shoulder gowns compliment a full bust. Halter style dresses are also a beautiful choice. These styles draw attention upward, which emphasizes the shoulders (or gown if it is a halter), while minimizing the chest. Try and avoid full skirts which will make one look large on both the top and bottom.
Bottom Heavy Ladies
The A-line style is once again a choice that will flatter and elongate the body. Try and avoid emphasis on the waist. Finding a dress that highlights your upper body with a fuller skirt will give a beautiful appearance.
